ไมโครซอฟท์เปิดให้ดาวน์โหลด Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Service Pack 3 (SP3) ซึ่งเป็นการอัพเดทล่าสุดสำหรับ Microsoft Office Visio 2007 ที่รวมการอัพเดท 2 ประเภทด้วยกัน คือ

1. ฟิกซ์สำหรับใช้แก้ปัญหาที่ไมโครซอฟท์ยังไม่เคยเปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดมาก่อน รวมถึงฟิกซ์ทั่วไปสำหรับใช้เพื่อปรับปรุงความเสถียร, ประสิทธิภาพ และความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน
2. อัพเดท, อัพเดทความปลอดภัย, การอัพเดทแบบสะสม และฮอตฟิกซ์ต่างๆ ซึ่งออกหลังจากการออก Office Visio 2007 ถึงเดือนสิงหาคม 2554

เนื่องจาก Service Pack สำหรับ Office Visio 2007 เป็นการอัพเดทแบบสะสม (Cumulative updates) นั้นคือ SP3 จะรวมอัพเดทและฟิกซ์ทั้งหมดที่มีใน SP1 และ SP2 ดังนั้นผู้ใช้ Office Visio 2007 สามารถทำการติดตั้ง SP3 โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องทำการติดตั้ง SP1 หรือ SP2 ก่อน

ผู้ใช้ Office Visio 2007 สามารถติดตั้ง SP3 ได้ 2 วิธี ดังนี้

วิธีที่ 1: ติดตั้ง SP3 ผ่านทาง Microsoft Update
การติดตั้ง Office Visio 2007 SP3 ผ่านทาง Microsoft Update ทำได้โดยการเปิดไปยังเว็บไซต์ Microsoft Update จากนั้นดำเนินการตามคำสั่งบนจอภาพจนแล้วเสร็จ

วิธีที่ 2: ดาวน์โหลด SP3 จาก Microsoft Download Center มาติดตั้งแบบแมนนวล
ผู้ใช้ Office Visio 2007 ที่ต้องการติดตั้ง SP3 แบบแมนนวลสามารถทำการดาวน์โหลด SP3 จาก Microsoft Download Center ได้จากเว็บไซต์ต่อไปนี้

• Fixes a crash issue when a shape's bounding box uses incorrect data.
• Fixes an issue in which the checked-out SharePoint diagrams are prevented from updating correctly when you save them to the local drafts folder.
• Fixes an issue in which Office Visio 2007 crashes when you open certain VDX drawings.
• Fixes an issue in which the text is formatted incorrectly when you save a file as an AutoCAD (.DXF or .DGW) drawing.
• Fixes an issue in which Office Visio Visual Basic for Application (VBA) projects intermittently save incorrectly in Windows XP.
• Fixes an issue in which Office Visio 2007 closes unexpectedly when you click Discard Check-Out for a loaded SharePoint diagram.
• Fixes an issue in which the width and height protection of a shape is resized in a rotated selection.
