ยิ่งใกล้ถึงงาน Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES2010) ซึ่งจะจัดในวันที่ 7-10 มกราคม 2553 นี้ ก็ยิ่งมีข่าวเกี่ยวกับผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ๆ ออกมาให้อัพเดทกันเป็นระยะ ล่าสุดมีโน้ตบุ๊ก (Notebook) รุ่นใหม่ของ Dell ซึ่งใช้โปรเซสเซอร์ Intel Core i3 ออกมาให้อัพเดท
เว็บไซต์ Costco ซึ่งเป็นเว็บไซต์ขายส่งสินค้าในประเทศแคนาดาได้ประกาศขายโน้ตบุ๊ก Dell Inspiron รุ่นใหม่ที่จะใช้โปรเซสเซอร์ Intel Core i3 อย่างไรก็ตาม ในปัจจุบันโน้ตบุ๊กรุ่นดังกล่าวนี้ยังไม่มีการวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการ โดย Costco จะเริ่มส่งเครื่องให้กับลูกค้าที่สั่งซื้อจะได้ในวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2553 นี้
สำหรับสนนราคานั้น จากข้อมูลในเว็บไซต์ Costco โน้ตบุ๊กรุ่นใหม่ของ Dell จะมีราคาขายอยู่ที่ $1,029.99 (ประมาณ 34,500 บาท) หากมีคูปองจะลดเหลือ $879.99 (ประมาณ 29,400 บาท) ซึ่งเป็นราคาที่สูงกว่าผู้ผลิตรายอื่นๆ อย่าง Gateway หรือ Hewlett-Packard
อนึ่ง Intel Core i ซีรี่ย์นั้นเป็นโปรเซสเซอร์บนแพลตฟอร์ม Nehalem Microarchitecture โดยโปรเซสเซอร์ Intel Core i3 จะเป็นชิปตัวแรกของแพลตฟอร์ม Nehalem ที่มีเป้าหมายสำหรับการใช้ทั้งในโน้ตบุ๊กหลักและโน้ตบุ๊กรุ่นราคาประหยัด
