วันนี้ (4 พฤศจิกายน 2553) Google ได้อัปเดท Chrome เป็น Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 เวอร์ชันสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows, Mac, Linux และ Chrome Frame เพื่อแก้ปัญหาด้านความปลอดภัย (Security Fixes) ซึ่งมีความร้ายแรงสูง (High) จำนวน 10 ตัว รวมถึงได้ทำการอัปเดทปลั๊กอิน Flash Player เป็นเวอร์ชันใหม่ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่าง

Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 เป็นเวอร์ชันสเถียร (Stable) ตัวที่สองของเวอร์ชัน 7.0 สำหรับรายละเอียดคุณสมบัติใหม่ที่มีใน Google Chrome 7.0 นั้นสามารถอ่านได้ที่ Google Chrome 7.0.517.24 Beta Channel

การดาวน์โหลดและการติดตั้ง Google Chrome 7.0.517.44
Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 นั้นสามารถทำงานได้บน Window XP, Windows Vista และ Windows 7 โดยผู้ใช้ใหม่ที่ยังไม่มีการติดตั้ง Google Chrome อยู่บนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ สามารถติดตั้งโดยใช้บราวเซอร์เปิดไปที่เว็บไซต์ www.google.com/chrome จากนั้นดำเนินการคำสั่งบนจอภาพ หรือดาวน์โหลด Google Chrome Offline Standalone Installer จากเว็บไซต์ Download Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 มาทำการติดตั้งด้วยตนเอง

ในกรณีที่มีการติดตั้ง Google Chrome เวอร์ชัน 7.0.517.41 หรือเก่ากว่าบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์อยู่ก่อนแล้ว สามารถทำการอัปเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 7.0.517.44 ได้โดยการเปิดคำสั่ง About Google Chrome จากนั้นคลิก Update Now แล้วดำเนินการคำสั่งบนจอภาพจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ
