Google ออก Google Chrome 5.0.375.127 เวอร์ชันสเถียร (Stable) สำหรับของระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows, Mac และ Linux เพื่อแก้ 9 ปัญหาความปลอดภัย (Security Fixes) โดยมี 2 ปัญหาที่มีความร้ายแรงวิกฤติ (Critical) และ 6 ปัญหาที่มีความร้ายแรงสูง (High) ซึ่งเวอร์ชันใหม่ล่าสุดนี้ออกเมื่อวันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2553 ตามรายละเอียดด้านล่าง

การดาวน์โหลดและการติดตั้ง Google Chrome 5.0.375.127
Google Chrome 5.0.375.127 นั้นสามารถทำงานได้บน Window XP, Windows Vista และ Windows 7 โดยผู้ใช้ใหม่ที่ยังไม่มีการติดตั้ง Google Chrome อยู่บนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ สามารถติดตั้งโดยใช้บราวเซอร์เปิดไปที่เว็บไซต์ www.google.com/chrome จากนั้นดำเนินการคำสั่งบนจอภาพ หรือดาวน์โหลด Google Chrome Offline Standalone Installer จากเว็บไซต์ Download Google Chrome 5.0.375.127 มาทำการติดตั้งด้วยตนเอง
ในกรณีที่มีการติดตั้ง Google Chrome เวอร์ชัน 5.0.375.126 หรือเก่ากว่าบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์อยู่ก่อนแล้ว สามารถทำการอัพเดทเป็นเวอร์ชัน 5.0.375.127 ได้โดยการเปิดคำสั่ง About Google Chrome จากนั้นคลิก Update Now จากนั้นดำเนินการคำสั่งบนจอภาพจนการติดตั้งแล้วเสร็จ
