Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) ซึ่งไมโครซอฟท์กำลังจะเปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดในอีกไม่กี่ชั่วโมงนั้น เป็นอัพเดทสำคัญ Windows 7 ซึ่งรวมอัพเดทสำหรับปรับปรุงด้านความปลอดภัย (Security), ประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน (Performance) และเสถียรภาพและความน่าเชื่อถือในการทำงาน (Stability and reliability) ที่ออกหลังจากการออก Windows 7 General Availability (GA) เมื่อวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2552 จำนวน 796 อัพเดท

Improvements in stability and reliability
