Firefox 2.0.0.7 New Features
ในเวอร์ชัน 2.0.0.7 นั้น ทาง Mozilla ได้ทำการปรับปรุงด้านความปลอดภัยเพิ่มเติมจากเวอร์ชันก่อนหน้า เพื่อปิดช่องโหว่วเกี่ยวกับการเปิดไฟล์มัลติมีเดียของ Quicktime โดยในเวอร์ชันนี้ไม่ได้ทำการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่แต่อย่างใด สำหรับฟีเจอร์ต่างๆ นั้น สามารถอ่านรายละเอียดได้จาก Firefox 2 New Features

การติดตั้ง Firefox 2.0.0.7
สำหรับวิธีการติดตั้ง Firefox 2.0.0.7 นั้น เหมือนกันกับการติดตั้งเวอร์ชันก่อนๆ โดยแบ่งออกเป็นสองรูปแบบด้วยกัน คือ การอัพเดทจาก Firefox เวอร์ชันก่อนหน้า ซึ่ง Firefox จะทำการตรวจสอบการอัพเดทโดยอัตโนมัติ เมื่อมีการเชื่อมต่อกับอินเทอร์เน็ต และการติดตั้ง Firefox 2.0.x.x ใหม่ โดยสามารถอ่านรายละเอียดขั้นตอนและวิธีการติดตั้งได้จาก การติดตั้ง Firefox 2.0.x.x

การยกเลิกการติดตั้ง Firefox 2
การยกเลิกการติดตั้ง Firefox 2 สามารถทำได้จาก Add or Remove Programs ใน Control Panel โดยการยกเลิกการติดตั้ง Firefox 2 นั้น จะไม่ทำการลบข้อมูลต่างๆ คือ bookmarks, web browsing history และ extensions หรือ add-ons ซึ่งต้องทำการลบด้วยตนเอง ตามตำแหน่งดังนี้
