หมายเหตุ: บทความนี้จะเป็นการอัพเดทบทความ "ไมโครซอฟต์ซีเคียวริตี้อัพเดทของเดือนกันยายน (2550/2007)"

เมื่อวันที่ 7 กันยายน 2550 ที่ผ่านมา ไมโครซอฟท์ ได้ออกประกาศเรื่อง "การออกอัพเดทความปลอดภัยของเดือนกันยายน" ฉบับใหม่ โดยทางไมโครซอฟท์ตัดอัพเดทออก 1 ตัว คือ ส่วนที่เกี่ยวกับ Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 และ Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (KB937832) ทำให้การอัพเดทความปลอดภัย (Security Update) ของเดือนสิงหาคมจะเหลือจำนวน 4 ตัว ซึ่งในจำนวนนี้จะมี update ที่มีความร้ายแรงระดับวิกฤต (Critical) จำนวน 1 ตัว มีความร้ายแรงระดับสำคัญ (Importance) จำนวน 3 ตัว โดยโปรแกรมหรือซอฟต์แวร์ต่างๆ ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ มีรายละเอียดตามด้านล่าง

การออกอัพเดทและการอัพเดทระบบ
ไมโครซอฟท์ วางแผนที่จะออกอัพเดทดังกล่าวในวันที่ 11 กันยายน 2550 โดยผู้ใช้ทั่วไปสามารถทำการอัพเดทจากเว็บไซต์ไมโครซอฟต์อัพเดท (http://update.microsoft.com) ผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ต หรือผ่านทาง Windows Server Update Services ขององค์กร
