Windows 7 God Mode โหมดร้อนซ่อนพลัง

ครั้งแรกที่ได้ยินคำว่า Windows 7 God Mode ผมคิดว่าน่าเป็นโหมดวิเศษของ Windows 7 ที่ต้องมีความพิเศษเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากชื่อโหมดที่ชวนให้คิดไปในแนวทางนั้น แต่หลังจากได้อ่านรายละเอียดจากหลายเว็บไซต์ ทำให้ทราบว่าจริงๆ แล้ว God Mode คือ โหมดที่สามารถเข้าถึงคำสั่งคอนโทรลพาเนล (Control Panel) ทั้งหมดของ Windows 7 ในมุมมองแบบ Standard Classic จากหน้าโฟลเดอร์เดียว ซึ่งแม้ว่าจะไม่มีความพิเศษมากมายอย่างที่คิดไว้แต่ God Mode ก็มีประโยชน์อย่างมากต่อแอดมิน (Administrators) ในการจัดการระบบ เนื่องจากไม่ต้องเสียเวลาเปิดหาคำสั่งที่ต้องการจากหลายๆ หน้าต่าง

วิธีการเปิดใช้งาน God Mode
สำหรับวิธีการเปิดใช้งาน God Mode นั้นทำได้ง่ายๆ โดยการสร้างโฟลเดอร์ใหม่ขึ้นมาหนึ่งโฟลเดอร์แล้วทำการเปลี่ยนชื่อโฟลเดอร์เป็น "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (ไม่รวมเครื่องหมายคำพูด) ซึ่งหลังจากทำการเปลี่ยนชื่อโฟลเดอร์เสร็จแล้วให้ดับเบิลคลิกโฟลเดอร์ที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่ดังกล่าวก็จะได้หน้าต่างลักษณะดังรูปด้านล่าง ซึ่งแสดงคำสั่งคอนโทรลพาเนลทั้งหมดของ Windows 7 ในโฟลเดอร์เดียว

หมายเหตุ: วิธีการนี้สามารถใช้ได้กับ Windows Vista แต่จะทำงานได้ดีเฉพาะบนเวอร์ชัน Vista 32-bit แต่อาจจะทำให้เกิดการแครชได้บนเวอร์ชัน Vista 64-bit

ยิ่งใกล้ถึงงาน Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES2010) ซึ่งจะจัดในวันที่ 7-10 มกราคม 2553 นี้ ก็ยิ่งมีข่าวเกี่ยวกับผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ๆ ออกมาให้อัพเดทกันเป็นระยะ ล่าสุดมีโน้ตบุ๊ก (Notebook) รุ่นใหม่ของ Dell ซึ่งใช้โปรเซสเซอร์ Intel Core i3 ออกมาให้อัพเดท

เว็บไซต์ Costco ซึ่งเป็นเว็บไซต์ขายส่งสินค้าในประเทศแคนาดาได้ประกาศขายโน้ตบุ๊ก Dell Inspiron รุ่นใหม่ที่จะใช้โปรเซสเซอร์ Intel Core i3 อย่างไรก็ตาม ในปัจจุบันโน้ตบุ๊กรุ่นดังกล่าวนี้ยังไม่มีการวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการ โดย Costco จะเริ่มส่งเครื่องให้กับลูกค้าที่สั่งซื้อจะได้ในวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2553 นี้
