วันนี้ (5 มิถุนายน 2552) ไมโครซอฟท์ได้ประกาศ "Microsoft Security Notification for June 2009" หรือที่รู้จักกันในหมู่แอดมินว่า "Patch Tuesday" โดยไมโครซอฟท์วางแผนจะออกอัพเดทความปลอดภัยจำนวน 10 ตัว เป็นอัพเดทของวินโดวส์จำนวน 6 อัพเดท เป็นอัพเดทของ Internet Explorer จำนวน 1 อัพเดท เป็นอัพเดทของ Word จำนวน 1 อัพเดท เป็นอัพเดทของ Excel จำนวน 1 อัพเดท และเป็นอัพเดทของ Microsoft Office จำนวน 1 อัพเดท โดยมีรายละเอียดการอัพเดทและรายชื่อเวอร์ชันที่ได้รับผลกระทบ มีดังนี้
