Microsoft Security Update for August 2007

ไมโครซอฟต์ซีเคียวริตี้อัพเดทของเดือนสิงหาคม 2550
เมื่อวันที่ 10 สิงหาคม 2550 ที่ผ่านมา ไมโครซอฟท์ ได้ออกประกาศเรื่อง "การออกอัพเดทความปลอดภัยของเดือนสิงหาคม" ว่าทางไมโครซอฟท์จะออกอัพเดทความปลอดภัย (Security Update) ของเดือนสิงหาคมจำนวน 9 ตัว ซึ่งในจำนวนนี้จะมี update ที่มีความร้ายแรงระดับวิกฤต (Critical) จำนวน 6 ตัว มีความร้ายแรงระดับสำคัญ (Importance) จำนวน 3 ตัว โดยโปรแกรมหรือซอฟต์แวร์ต่างๆ ที่ได้รับผลกระทบมีรายละเอียดตามด้านล่าง

การอัพเดทที่มีความร้ายแรงระดับวิกฤต ได้แก่
-Microsoft Security Bulletin 1
ซอฟต์แวร์ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ: XML Core Services 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0

-Microsoft Security Bulletin 2
ซอฟต์แวร์ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ: Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Pro x64 /SP2, Windows Server 2003 x86/x64 SP1/SP2, Office 2004 for Mac, Visual Basic 6.0 SP6

-Microsoft Security Bulletin 3
ซอฟต์แวร์ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ: Office 2000 SP3, Office XP SP3, Office 2003 SP2, Excel Viewer 2003, Office 2004 for Mac

-Microsoft Security Bulletin 4

การออกอัพเดทและการอัพเดทระบบ
ไมโครซอฟท์ วางแผนที่จะออกอัพเดทดังกล่าวในวันที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2550 โดยผู้ใช้ทั่วไปสามารถทำการอัพเดทจากเว็บไซต์ไมโครซอฟต์อัพเดท (Microsoft Update) ผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ต หรือผ่านทาง Windows Server Update Services ขององค์กร
